OHSAA Cross Country 2022 Results: A Look Back
What a Year It Was!
The 2022 OHSAA Cross Country Championships were a whirlwind of excitement and success. With over 800 runners from all over Ohio competing, the competition was fierce. However, as the dust settled, there were many individual and team champions that rose to the top. So, let’s take a look back at the results from the 2022 OHSAA Cross Country Championships.
Individual Champions
The individual champions for the 2022 OHSAA Cross Country Championships were:
- Boys Division I - Charles Smith from Hamilton High School
- Boys Division II - Michael Fultz from Fairfield High School
- Girls Division I - Sarah Anderson from Thomas Worthington High School
- Girls Division II - Jenna Michaels from Westerville North High School
All four of these champions put in an immense amount of work throughout the season to be able to claim their titles. Congratulations to all four of them!
Team Champions
The team champions for the 2022 OHSAA Cross Country Championships were:
- Boys Division I - St. Ignatius High School
- Boys Division II - Columbus Academy
- Girls Division I - Thomas Worthington High School
- Girls Division II - Dublin Jerome High School
These four teams worked hard all season long and really deserved their championships. Congratulations to all of them as well!
The 2022 OHSAA Cross Country Championships
The 2022 OHSAA Cross Country Championships were an incredible success. There were many great performances and even more great individuals and teams that were crowned champions. It was fantastic to see so many great athletes come together to compete and represent their schools.
Looking Ahead to 2023
Now that the 2022 OHSAA Cross Country Championships are in the past, the athletes and teams will look ahead to the 2023 season. With the amazing performances from this year, the expectations for next year's season will be incredibly high. We can't wait to see what happens in the 2023 OHSAA Cross Country Championships!
